The Robb and Stucky furniture outlets sell a variety of home furnishings for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, home offices, outdoor use and more, as of 2015. The company also sells oriental rugs, window treatments, leather furniture, original art and other home accessories.
Robb and Stucky operates three retail stores in Florida, in the cities of Fort Myers, Naples and Sarasota, and was founded in Fort Myers in 1915. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2011 and was then purchased by Taiwanese businessman Samuel Kuo, who named Steve Lush as the company's new president. After the bankruptcy, the company underwent a complete change and is no longer associated with any of its former owners or executives, as of 2015.
The newly reformed company opened its first store in 2012, followed by its flagship store in Naples in 2013. Robb and Stucky focuses mainly on selling American-made furniture, although it does sell items from Germany, Italy, Canada, Mexico and Asia. It offers more than 45 different designer bedroom furniture sets, over 50 casual dining sets and its exclusive Royal and Borden collection of mattresses. The company also offers custom designed wood, leather and upholstered furniture with more than 10,000 upholstery options to choose from.
