Accurately measure the height of the shelves and mark a spot 2 1/2 inches from the sidewall. When deciding on the shelf's height use the following measurements for secure installation: 84 inches for a top storage shelf or a double-hang shelf, 68 inches for a long-hang shelf, 42 inches for a double-hang shelf or 12 inches for a shoe shelf.
Drill 1/4-inch holes for the back clips every 12 inches. Use a level to ensure the clips are straight. Insert the clips by tapping lightly with a hammer.
Insert the wall bracket by tapping lightly with a hammer.
Rest the shelf on the back clip and snap into place. Lower the front of the shelf onto the wall brackets and snap into place.
Install the support braces every 36 inches by drilling a 1/4-inch hole and inserting a wall anchor in the hole, tapping lightly with a hammer to insert it completely.
Insert the end caps on all the cut ends of the shelves.
