Removing rabbit hiding places and installing fences around the perimeter of your property are two ways you can get rid of rabbits around your home. Rabbits tend to hide in areas with large amounts of vegetation. Removing any overgrown grass, shrubs and bushes deters rabbits from remaining on your property.
To discourage rabbits, you should cover or fill in any burrows that they can use as potential hiding spots.
Building a fence around the perimeter of your property is also an effective way of getting rid of rabbits. You should ensure that the fence consists of mesh material with holes that are 1 inch or smaller. Your fence should also be at least 2 feet high with at least 4 to 8 inches buried underground.
