Glidden's Color Visualizer works by allowing a user to see, on their computer, how paint colors would look in a room. The user can choose from room images that Glidden provides, or upload one of their own, and then experiment with applying different paint colors.
Glidden's Color Visualizer is a tool for anyone in the initial planning stages of painting. The room images that Glidden provides are of many different rooms of the house, from kitchen and bathroom to nursery and entryway. Users can experiment with different color combinations and apply virtual paint to any or all of the walls of a room, the doors, trim and sometimes large items of furniture and the ceiling.
Because of differences in computer screens, the colors may not be exactly accurate to real life. The Visualizer can, however, give the user a sense of how the colors will ultimately look.
Once the user selects a room image, they next choose which paint colors they'd like to use. Once they've selected colors, the user can then apply them to wherever they choose in the room. The Color Visualizer also lets the user know what two complementary colors are, which they can then choose to add to their selections.
