What Is the Fuel Mixture for a McCulloch Chainsaw?

All McCulloch chainsaws that have two-stroke engines require a 50:1 mixture of gasoline and oil. The company recommends using Universal powered by McCulloch two-stroke oil.

The correct way to mix the fuel is to pour half the amount of gasoline required into a clean container that is approved for fuel by the local authority followed by the entire amount of oil required for the mixture. The two are then mixed thoroughly by shaking the container vigorously. Finally, the remaining amount of gasoline is added to the mixture and the container is shaken vigorously once again. It is recommended not to mix more than a month’s worth of fuel at a time.
