Fold a napkin by creasing it into thirds, folding it into a tent-like shape, rolling up the ends, and folding it into a diamond shape. This takes only a few minutes and requires a napkin.
- Fold the napkin into thirds
Lay the napkin on a flat surface. Fold it into thirds. Fold the bottom flap up and the top flap down over the bottom flap. You should now have a long rectangular shape.
- Fold the napkin into a tent-like shape
Take the left end of the napkin, and fold it down at the center of the rectangle at a 45-degree angle. Repeat the process with the right side of the napkin. Your napkin should now have a triangular or tent-like shape.
- Roll up the ends
Turn the napkin over so that the center fold is on the bottom. It should now resemble a triangle with two ends sticking out of the bottom. Roll up the two ends until they reach the bottom of the triangle.
- Fold the napkin into the final diamond shape
Turn the napkin over again so that the rolls are on the bottom. Fold the left side up to the center crease. Fold the right side up to the center crease. You should now have a diamond shape with two cylinders of rolled fabric running vertically through the center.
