The Trane XR13 central cooling system is built with durable materials and is designed to cool every room in the house, and it is Energy Star qualified. It includes a Climatuff compressor for durability, efficiency and low noise levels while the Spine Fin aluminum outdoor coil provides increased heat-exchanging abilities and resistance to corrosion. The unit also includes a baked-on powder paint for rust resistance, a Quick-Sess cabinet that protects the coil, a non-corrosive Duratuff basepan and louvered panels for maximum protection. Some models also include sound insulation.
The cooling capacity ranges from 17,000 to 58,500 BTU per hour depending on the model, and all components are quality tested several times. The Trane XR13 is compatible with the brand's CleanEffects air filtration system that removes impurities such as dust and pollen from the air. The compressor, coil and internal parts have a 10-year limited warranty, and Trane's base limited warranty applies if the buyer does not register the product within 60 days of purchase. Buyers can also choose from optional extended warranties.
