The GE Advantium line of ovens features faster cook times over conventional ovens, convection heating and combines radiant heat with microwave energy to cook the food. The line includes wall ovens, over-the-range ovens and combination ovens.
An Advantium oven combines four ovens in one: speed-cook oven, European convection oven, sensor microwave oven and warming oven. Using radiant heat supplied by halogen lighting and using microwave energy, the food is browned and cooked evenly while retaining moisture.
The Advantium oven delivers conventional oven-quality results that are between two to eight times faster than a conventional oven. Breaded seafood fillets that normally take 30 minutes to cook in a regular oven are done in 10 minutes with an Advantium 120 model and ready in 4 1/2 minutes with the 240 model.
