A dryer, professional spray or shower are effective substitutes to remove wrinkles from clothing. Although unconventional, these tools serve as worthy replacements for an iron when removing wrinkles.
- Dampen clothes and place them in the dryer
Lightly spray your clothes with a water bottle or wet them under the sink. Place the dampened clothes in the dryer for 15 to 20 minutes and remove. This method is ideal if the clothes are worn immediately after removing them from the dryer. The wrinkles will reform if the clothes are left in the dryer for an extended period of time.
- Use wrinkle removal sprays
Purchase a professional wrinkle removal spray to smooth out creases and eliminate wrinkles. Spray the solution on the clothing and smooth out while damp. Look for a spray with a fiber-relaxing technology that is safe for most fabrics.
- Take a shower
While showering, hang-up the wrinkled clothes inside the bathroom, and close the door. In roughly 10 minutes, steam rolls over the wrinkles and creases. A long and hot shower is necessary for this method to effectively remove wrinkles. Using steam from the shower is a great way to smooth out clothes while travelling and staying in hotels.
