White vinegar is an effective stain remover. Take a clean rag, soak it in the vinegar and scrub the stain thoroughly but gently. The scrubbing process takes a while, but it works faster than soap. Keep in mind that vinegar is abrasive and causes stinging in cuts, burns and open sores. Scrub gently to avoid removing the skin or creating new wounds.
For egg-dye stains that do not come off with vinegar, use a baking soda and water mixture. Wash any traces of vinegar off the skin before applying the baking soda paste. Put a few teaspoons of baking soda in a bowl and mix in water until it forms a paste-like consistency. Use it to scrub the stain off the skin. Oil and salt scrubs also work in this respect, but they may cause burning or stinging sensations.
Prevent egg dye stains by wearing gloves and a plastic poncho or trash bag to cover exposed skin. It is easier to prevent egg-dye stains than to remove them.Learn more about Cleaning
