Remove extra piles of wood or other places the woodchucks nest or inhabit. Use talcum powder to create a perimeter to keep the woodchucks out. Blood metal or hair clippings also act as a deterrent.
A small mesh fence keeps woodchucks out of an area as well. The fence should be 3 feet high and buried at least 1 foot in the ground to prevent the woodchucks from digging under or going over it. Another way to get rid of woodchucks is to set humane traps and release the animals in a far off location to keep them from returning.Learn more about Furry Pests
