Effectively clean and disinfect plastic, glass or wood cutting boards with a combination of water, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. These natural cleaners sanitize, clean and neutralize odors.
Immediately after use, rinse the cutting board with warm water, and then wipe the entire board with white vinegar to remove germs. Take care not to submerge wooden boards fully in water, which may damage the wood. Use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda on their own or in combination as an effective cleaner. Pour the solution on the board surface, let it stand for a couple minutes, and then wipe the board clean with a dry cloth.
