Some pallet racking options include floor stacking, drive-in and drive-through pallet racking, and pallet flow racking systems. There is also selective pallet racking and push back pallet racking.
The type of items stored, the size of the warehouse and its layout all must be considered when choosing a good pallet racking system. Floor stacking is good when storing a high number of items, though it offers little accessibility to the individual pallets. The drive-in and drive-through systems are popular for warehouses since it allows better accessibility and doesn’t take up a lot of floor space. This does require careful placement and additional equipment.
