As of November 2015, the map indicates that collection services are slated to visit those in the innermost part of the city on Monday. Tuesday's collection occurs both in portions of the northwest quadrant and portions of the southeast side of Winnipeg. Wednesday's collection workers visit the northern portion of the city, while, on Thursday, they visit the western and eastern ends as well as a small portion of the inner city. On Friday, the collection department services the southernmost portion of Winnipeg and an area in the northwest quadrant.

You can view the next scheduled collection date by clicking on your respective area. The city also employs a My Waste app that determines your collection day based on user input or the user's current location. Collection services advises putting cans by the road by 7 a.m. on your collection day and then removing them as soon as possible after collection. Yard waste is collected bi-weekly from April to November on advertised collection days.
