A Day and Night gas furnace is a high-speed heating system for residential and commercial use. Ranging in efficiency from 80 percent to 97 percent, Day and Night gas furnaces feature variable-speed blower motors to heat homes and offices.
Day and Night gas furnaces offer direct vent or ventilated combustion air to transport heat into residential homes and commercial businesses. Many of the gas furnace models feature electronic air cleaner terminals, up to 12 different venting configurations and humidifier terminals.
Customers can have Day and Night gas furnaces installed by professional HVAC specialists or shipped directly from the factory complete with propane gas conversion kits. Installation options include upflow, downflow and horizontal positions. Day and Night gas furnaces operate at lower heating and quiet rates and many models feature an insulated steel cabinet. The high temperature limit controls prevent overheating with an adjustable heating blower delay to power down the appliance. Day and Night gas furnaces can be ignited with a direct ignition with silicon nitride. Roll out sensors are standard within most gas furnace models.
As of 2015, Day and Night gas furnace models include the Constant Comfort Series with 96 percent efficiency, the Constant Comfort Series with 90 percent efficiency, the Performance Series with 90 percent efficiency and a Constant Comfort Series with 80 percent efficiency.
