Some common Whirlpool Duet washer error codes are "F/H," "F/02" and "F/09." The "F/H" error code refers to the fact that the washer is not filling with water. This could mean that the water supply valves that connect the supply hoses with the washer are not open.
The washer may also not be filling with water and triggering the "F/H" error code because the water in the water supply lines has frozen, or because the water is not siphoning from the washer tub. If all of these possibilities have been checked and the washer is still displaying the "F/H" error code, then the internal water inlet valve probably needs to be replaced.
The "F/02" error code means that the washer is having difficulty draining. This is normally due to excessive soap suds in the water caused by too much laundry detergent, or there could be a clog in the washer's drain pump. Another possibility is that the drain pump itself is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.
An "F/09" error code is caused by either the washer overfilling with water or a malfunctioning water-level pressure switch. It is best to check the water inlet valve to see if it is opening and closing properly to let water in and out of the washer drum. If the error code appears while the washer tub is empty, then the water-level pressure switch is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.
