Homer Laughlin retired Fiesta colors Old Ivory, Light Green and the first iteration of Cobalt Blue in 1951. Forest Green, Rose, Chartreuse and Gray were retired in 1959. Medium Green and early versions of Yellow and Turquoise were discontinued in 1969, followed by Turf Green and Antique Gold in 1972.
Sapphire enjoyed a limited two-year production run from 1996 to 1997, as did Lilac from 1993 to 1995. Chartreuse was retired in 1999 after debuting in 1997, and the 75th Anniversary color, Marigold, was only available from 2008 to 2012. Apricot was retired in 1998, followed by Pearl Gray and Juniper in 2001, and Yellow in 2002. Rose and Sea Mist Green were discontinued in 2005, followed by Periwinkle Blue in 2006 and Persimmon and Heather in 2008.
Fiesta colors Cinnabar and Evergreen were retired in 2010, followed by Chocolate in 2011. Flamingo was discontinued in 2013; Black and Peacock in 2014. The White and new shade of Cobalt Blue that launched in 1986 are still in production, as is the new Turquoise that debuted in 1988.
Sunflower, Plum, Tangerine, Shamrock and Scarlet are contemporary, currently available colors, as are Ivory, Lemongrass and Paprika. Lapis was released in 2013, Poppy in 2014, and Sage and Slate are the newest Fiesta colors, becoming available in 2015.
