The reason Tarkett flooring is so appealing is the ease with which it can be cleaned. For vinyl flooring, it is best to simply sweep or vacuum the bigger dirt particles and then wipe the floor clean with a moist towel and a neutral detergent. Laminate floors can be cleaned in a similar way, but a cleaning solution specifically designed for laminates should be used in place of water. Use a dry towel or rag to dry the laminate floor after cleaning. A wet towel should not be used to clean a wooden Tarkett floor, however, because the water may cause the planks to warp. Simply vacuuming or sweeping over the wooden floor should be sufficient to keep it clean.
When installing any kind of Tarkett flooring, it is important to leave the planks in the room in which they will be installed for 24 to 48 hours. This allows the planks to swell or contract depending on the humidity and temperature of the room they will be placed in. Failing to do this may cause the floor to warp or become uneven after installed.Learn more about Cleaning
