Always turn off the burners and wait for the stove top to cool before attempting to clean it.
Step 1: Apply appropriate cleaning solution or cream
Each manufacturer recommends a specific type or brand of cleaning solution.
Apply the cleaning solution according to the instructions on the packaging, then either let it sit for 30 minutes, or gently work it into the surface with a soft cloth or sponge.
Step 2: Apply a baking soda paste
In the absence of a commercial cleaning product, mix a paste with 4 tablespoons of baking soda and a few drops of water or distilled white vinegar. Apply it to the stain or residue, then wipe it off after 30 minutes. Alternatively, leave it on for 60 seconds, then scrub it with a cloth until the residue is gone.
A razor scraper can also be useful for thick, stubborn stains. Keep the stain moist with a cleaning solution, then scrape gently until the stain has been eliminated.Learn more about Stain Removal
