Clean ceramic tile floors with vinegar by mixing together vinegar and warm water, mopping the floors with the mixture and repeating as needed. A chamois or rag-type mop cleans grout lines more easily than a sponge mop.
- Mix water and vinegar
Combine 1 cup vinegar and 1 gallon warm water in a bucket or other container.
- Mop the floors
Clean the floors by using a mop soaked with the vinegar mixture. Refill the mop with new vinegar mixture when needed.
- Refresh the vinegar mixture
When the vinegar mixture becomes dirty, pour it out, and mix up a new batch. Continue the process until the floors are clean.
