To change the light bulb in a Panasonic microwave, switch off and unplug the unit, and unscrew the outer vent cover of the bulb. Locate the bulb on the right front side of the oven, lift the holder, and unscrew it. Finally, position the new bulb, and screw it in.
Before changing the light bulb of a Panasonic microwave, switch off and unplug the unit. Leave the oven untouched for at least five minutes. This helps to discharge the capacitors. Remove all the six screws of the outer vent cover completely with a screwdriver to take the cover off. Set the screws aside.
The bulb in the microwave is located on the right front side and sits upside down vertically in the unit. To remove the bulb, lift the holder, and unscrew it with your fingers. When replacing the old bulb with a new one, position the latter exactly as the old bulb was positioned, and screw it in by turning the bulb clockwise with your fingers.
Reassemble the bulb holder and the vent cover using the six screws that were removed earlier. Plug in the microwave oven, and switch on the unit. To change the light bulb of the microwave safely, ensure that your hands are completely dry and free of oil. This minimizes the risk of electrocution.
