Maytag accepts user reviews from appliance owners on its website. Some Maytag retailers, such as Lowe's and Home Depot, also let customers write their own reviews on the stores' websites.
Maytag's site lets users to review microwaves based on seven categories, including overall, capacity and sound levels. As of early 2015, Home Depot lets users rate microwaves on a five-point scale in categories such as features, energy efficiency, quality and value. At the same time, Lowe's offers a similar five-point rating scale on features, value, design, quality and ease of use. Lowe's also lets reviewers cite specific pros and cons of the product. All of the mentioned sites let users write a descriptive review.
