Reviews for the various types of blenders produced by Waring are available from numerous sources, including Amazon, Good Housekeeping, Chef's Catalog and Cooking.com. On these sites, customers can find reviews of several of the different Waring blenders, such as the Professional Bar Blender and the Professional Food and Beverage Blender.
The Good Housekeeping Research Institute tested and reviewed the Waring Pro Professional Food and Beverage Blender in 2010. They gave it an overall rating of A-, noting that the product has a nice retro look and is incredibly simple to use thanks to its own two-speed switch operation. However, their reviewers also noted a few negatives about the product, such as the fact that the blender jar is quite small and also doesn't seem to fit very well onto the unit's base.
The Waring Corporation was founded in 1937, after entertainer Fred Waring introduced the "Miracle Mixer," the world's first electric blender. The company soon changed the name of the product from the Miracle Mixer to the Waring Blender and has since been producing blenders for more than 75 years. In addition to blenders, Waring also produces a wide range of other appliances, including griddles, deep fryers, food slicers, convection ovens and waffle makers. The company also produces a line of commercial appliances under the Waring Commercial brand.
