To remove pomegranate stains from fabric, rinse the fabric under cold water. Apply laundry detergent to the stain, and let the fabric soak in cold water for 30 minutes. If the stain is not gone, apply hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes, then rinse and wash the fabric as usual.
- Rinse the stained fabric
Turn the fabric inside out, and rinse it under cold, running water to flush out as much of the stain as possible.
- Apply laundry detergent
Cover the stain with a liquid laundry detergent. Work the detergent into the stain with your fingers or by rubbing the fabric together.
- Soak the stained fabric
Place the stained fabric in cold water to soak for 30 minutes, then rinse the detergent from the fabric with cold water.
- Add hydrogen peroxide if necessary
Examine the fabric to see if all of the stain has been removed. If it has not, test hydrogen peroxide on a small part of the fabric to make sure it won't cause discoloration. Rub a small amount of hydrogen peroxide onto the stain for three minutes.
- Rinse and wash the fabric
Rinse the hydrogen peroxide, and wash the fabric as normal. Make sure the stain is completely gone before placing the fabric in the dryer.
