To view the chart, visit the EIA.gov homepage, and place the cursor over Sources & Uses. On the drop-down menu that appears, click Petroleum & Other Liquids. Place the cursor over Data, and click Prices on the drop-down menu. On the list under the Prices heading, click Weekly Heating Oil & Propane Prices.

The price chart provides the dollar price per gallon of propane, excluding taxes. The United States is the default area, but specific regions and states are available from the area drop-down menu. The default time period is weekly, but monthly is also an option.

The page lists the most recent release date for information and the next scheduled release date at the bottom. The U.S. Energy Information Administration only collects data from the beginning of October through the end of March, as this is considered the heating season. Clicking on a year range under the View History heading on the chart brings up multiple charts with the weekly propane price for that time period.
