Bosch ventless dryers are available from numerous major appliance retailers, including Sears, Best Buy and Abt. As of February 2015, Bosch ventless dryers sell for $1,000 to $1,400.
Ventless dryers do not require a blower or ductwork because they rely on the process of condensation. These dryers convert the moisture in the hot air to water, which is then disposed of through the water drain.
Bosch offers three models of ventless dryers: the Ascenta, Axxis and Axxis Plus. Bosch's ventless dryers are also compact and can fit under counters, stacked or placed side by side. Despite being compact, all four models have a large capacity of 4 cubic feet. Each one is constructed with anti-vibration technology on the side walls and a proprietary Sensitive Drying System to warm clothes gently from all sides. These machines also feature 15 drying cycles with six options, including special drying cycles for woolen fabrics and jeans. The Bosch dryers have a low-heat option for all settings and sensors to prevent overheating and save on energy costs.
The Axxis models include a larger, reversible door that can be opened on either side, a stainless steel structured drum and an anti-shrinkage cycle. The Axxis Plus also has an interior drum light and a special 15-minute program to dry men's shirts.
