Articles with electrical conduit bending instructions are on About.com. Bending electrical conduit requires five materials. One must take measurements, use a level surface and check measurements after bending.
A small level, a pencil, a tape measure, a bender and a conduit are required for the task. First, determine the length of the bend and mark measurements on the conduit with a pencil. Next, place the bender over the conduit.
Before bending, use a level on the pipe to see that the floor is level. Bending requires heavy foot pressure on the bender heel at the same time the handle is pulled. After bending, check the accuracy of the bend by applying a level to the pipe. Use a tape measure to check from the floor to the top of the pipe.
