What Does a Bunn Coffee Maker Warranty Cover?

A Bunn coffee maker warranty guarantees that the equipment is free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of manufacture. The length of the warranty varies based on the model and whether it was purchased new, received as a replacement or remanufactured.

The warranty does not cover commercial use or misuse of the coffee maker. Misuse can mean lack of maintenance, repairs performed by an unauthorized technician within the warranty period, use with a current or voltage other than what is specified in the instructions, use with unauthorized attachments, or use of water with high mineral content. Repairs performed on parts otherwise not covered by the warranty do not negate the warranty.

The warranty requires proof of purchase to determine the length of the warranty period. If there is no proof of purchase, then Bunn determines the warranty period based on when the machine was manufactured using the date code on the machine.

Some states have specific legal protections surrounding warranties. Certain states do not allow any limitation on an implied warranty, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.

The warranty for the Trifecta MB does not cover replacement of parts deemed to be user replaceable. This includes parts such as seals and gaskets which wear out over time.
