To build a speaker box, measure and cut the boards to fit around the speaker driver, make a hole in one of the boards to install the speaker driver, and attach a speaker cloth on the front panel. Assemble the box, drill a power cable hole, and close the box.
- Measure and cut the boards
Mark the measurements of the boards, and cut them to fit around the speaker driver. Make a hole in one of the boards for the speaker driver to fit in, and make this your front panel.
- Install the speaker driver, and attach a speaker cloth
Using screws, secure the speaker driver to the front panel of the speaker box. Shape the black speaker cloth, and glue it to the edges of the front panel board.
- Assemble the box, and insulate it
Drill holes in all the boards, secure five boards together with screws to form a box, and leave the box open in the back. Attach a brace to the inside corners with screws to make the box firm, and insulate the box.
- Drill a power cable hole, and close the back panel board
Drill a hole in the back panel, and thread the speaker wires to connect to electricity. Finally, secure the back panel with screws to close the speaker box.
