ADT alarm systems all require batteries that can be recharged. If a battery no longer retains a charge, ADT provides solutions to replace batteries either as a do-it-yourself task or scheduling an in-house service at MyADT.com or by calling its customer service number.
In the event of a power outage, it is possible that the battery just needs time to recharge rather than be replaced. If a system battery is left charging for 48-hours and still shows a low battery alert, it may need to be replaced. ADT provides how-to guides, troubleshooting information and contact numbers directly on the MyADT website for its customers.
