Valentine's Day boxes for boys can be simple, elaborate or even character-themed. While boxes for boys are typically not as frilly as boxes for girls, they can still be festive and fun.
Cereal boxes covered in red wrapping paper or construction paper can serve as the base for a Valentine's Day box for a boy. Paper plates colored or painted red can be folded into a variety of shapes to make a box for Valentine's Day gifts. Paper bags with red hearts glued onto them make very simple holders for Valentine's Day treats.
For a more elaborate Valentine box, make a mailbox out of a small, empty box of laundry detergent. Shoe boxes can also be wrapped to look like mailboxes. Use red wrapping or construction paper, and cut a slit in the top for the Valentine's Day gifts. Popsicle sticks dyed red and glued together make a cool log cabin style box that is perfect for boys.
To keep a boy's Valentine box from looking too much like a girl's box, try to avoid pink and purple colors and frills. Use stickers or colored copies of pictures of their favorite characters to keep the box looking boyish. Darth Vadar, SpongeBob, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or even Mickey Mouse characters can add personality to the box and still keep it festive.
