You can start a Hudson Bay gift registry in-store, through the company's mobile app or online at TheBay.com. To create a registry online, click on Gift Registry at the top of the company's home page, and select Create a Registry.
If you prefer to create your Hudson Bay gift registry in a store, the company recommends that you make an appointment with a gift registry consultant to receive personalized service. Hudson Bay posts contact information for each retail location at TheBay.com.
As of 2015, Hudson Bay offers wedding, baby, anniversary and general special occasion registries. Once a registry is created, guests can view it instantly online, through the app and in-store. Whether registering remotely or at a retail location, customers can take advantage of tools such as gift guides, room-by-room checklists and complimentary enclosure cards. Registries remain in the company's system for 24 months after the event date.
At TheBay.com, you can also modify, change or delete an existing registry. The website allows you to see which items have been purchased, add additional items or modify the registry type.
After the event has occurred, the Hudson Bay completion program offers special discounts on items remaining on a wedding or baby registry. Most items are eligible for a 10 percent discount.
