Some ideas for making Halloween cards at home include creating a spinning spider on the cover of the card and creating layers on the cover with different sizes of paper. Another idea is to make a card cover that looks like a mummy.
Creating a spinning spider cutout involves cutting a circle in the cover of the card and suspending a smaller circle within it with a spider image stamped or drawn on it. One way to create a layered look is to glue three black squares onto slightly bigger orange squares, and then apply these to the cover of a card in a pattern. Stamp or illustrate the squares with Halloween images. Make a mummy card by tearing pieces of paper into shreds to use as the mummy’s cloth and then gluing it on the front of the card in layers. Glue on googly eyes to finish the card.
