Icebreaker games for small groups include the Desert Island question, True or False, Interviews, and Little Known Fact. Somewhat more complicated icebreakers include Question Web, Would You Rather..., Flags, and People Bingo.
For the Desert Island icebreaker, tell the group, "You've been exiled to a deserted island. You can take one item. What is it and why?" For True or False, ask the participants to introduce themselves and make three statements about themselves, one of which is false. The rest of the group votes on which fact is false.
For Interviews, instruct the participants to get into groups of two. Each person interviews his partner for a few minutes, then switches. When the time is up, each person introduces his interviewee to the rest of the group. For the Little Known Fact icebreaker, ask participants to introduce themselves and then say one little-known fact about themselves.
