One good Halloween game for a class party is "hot pumpkin." Another fun thing to do at a school Halloween party is to have a trick-or-treat bean bag toss.
Hot pumpkin is just like the game "hot potato." To play, have children sit in a circle and pass around a small pumpkin while music plays. When the music stops, whoever is holding the pumpkin is out and must leave the circle. The last person left is the winner.
For trick-or-treat bean bag toss, remove the labels from several empty coffee cans, baby formula cans or similar containers. Glue or tape Halloween decorations to the cans, and then set them out on the floor. Place a piece of candy or small toy in the bottom of each can. Let kids take turns trying to throw small bean bags into the cans. When someone gets one in, he gets to keep the treat from the can.
