“Musical bumps” and “ Grandmother’s footsteps” are some popular and fun games for a little boy’s birthday party. Each of these games is accommodating for small and large groups of kids.
"Musical bumps" is a game that involves playing music while children dance. When the music stops, all kids sit down quickly. The last one to sit is removed from the game. The game is played until a single child is left dancing and declared the winner.
In "Grandmother’s footsteps," one person is designated as the grandmother and stands with her back to everyone else. The kids are lined up a few feet away from the grandmother and have to move closer when her head is turned. If she turns around and finds someone still moving toward her, the person has to go back and start at the beginning. The person who reaches grandmother and taps her shoulder is the winner and becomes the grandmother for the next round.
