Some good Christmas verses to include in Christmas cards are Isaiah 9:6, Luke 2:11 and Luke 2:12. These verses, taken from the New International Version of the Bible, all have to do with the birth of Jesus.
Isaiah 9:6 begins, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given" and ends by predicting that the child would be called "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Luke 2:11 and 2:12 both depict the statements of angels to shepherds proclaiming the birth of the Messiah. In Luke 2:11, the angels say, "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." In Luke 2:12, the angels tells the shepherds to look for the sign of "a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
