Two primary ways of making a duct tape bracelet involve using either paper or electrical wire as the base. Choose the length that you need, then wrap duct tape pieces around the base to form the bracelet. To add fun colors and designs to the bracelet, use duct tape in multiple colors and styles.
Making a Duct Tape Bracelet
To make a bracelet with a paper base, lay out one or more pieces of duct tape on a flat surface with the sticky side up. To make designs or use multiple colors, overlap strips of duct tape in a diagonal pattern.
Carefully place a piece of paper on top of the duct tape. Make sure that the paper does not wrinkle.
On the top of the paper lay several more pieces of duct tape along one side with the sticky part down. The piece of paper should be sandwiched between duct tape to make one heavy piece.
Finish by cutting a bracelet-sized strip from the piece of paper and duct tape. Wrap it around your wrist, and fasten it using either tape or Velcro adhesive dots.
To make a wire based duct tape bracelet, sandwich one or two pieces of electrical wire between two pieces of duct tape, then follow the rest of the instructions as listed above.
