The VTech warranty covers products for 3 months against defective workmanship and materials. The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.
VTech's warranty covers all its products against normal use and does not cover things like cosmetic damage, batteries or damage caused by accidents or misuse. In order to be covered under the warranty, the product must be used according to its intended purpose and not be modified in any way. If the VTech serial number is damaged or shows signs of tampering, the warranty is void.
The VTech warranty is good only for those customers located in the United States. VTech retains the right to replace or repair a product it deems defective and the new warranty takes effect when the old product is replaced. VTech also reserves the right to replace the product with one of comparable value if the same product is not available.
The exception to the VTech warranty is the company's Innotab products. These products come with a 1-year warranty from the original purchase date against defective materials and workmanship.
Customers can contact VTech with warranty issues or questions by calling or emailing the company. The contact information is on the company's website.
