Ron Pratte's entire automobile collection, including both vehicles and collector items related to cars and motoring, sold for more than $40.44 million in 2015. The automobilia pieces of the collection sold for approximately $6.55 million during the auction.
The top selling car in Ron Pratte's collection was a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake, which sold for $5.1 million. Other top selling vehicles include the 1950 GM Futurliner Parade of Progress Tour Bus sold for $4 million, a 1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special Motorama Concept Car sold for $3.3 million, a 1936 Delahaye “Whatthehaye” Street-Rod sold for $671,000 and a 2005 Ford GT Serial #003 sold for $605,000. Ron Pratte's collection also included vintage motorcycles, a 1912 Packard sightseeing bus and a 1930s Harley-Davidson two-sided neon porcelain sign.
