The Martin Guitar Company sells 15 different series of acoustic guitar products, as of 2015, including limited edition commemorative guitars, twelve-string guitars, junior-sized guitars and ukuleles. The company also sells guitars sourced from sustainable wood sources.
Examples of standard series Martin guitars include the D-18 model, built out of mahogany and listed for a price of $2,999. Another standard series Martin guitar is the OM-21, crafted in rosewood and listed with a price of $3,249. The J-40 standard series is also made out of rosewood; the company lists its price at $4,799.
Martin's performing artist guitars tend to be less expensive than their standard series counterparts and come in a variety of colors, such as black and deeply shaded brown. Examples include the GPCPA4, built out of rosewood and listed for a price of $1,999, and the BCPA4, the only bass guitar in the line up.
Martin also offers a line of luxury guitars under the Marquis Collection. This collection includes the OM-45 De Luxe Authentic 1930, which the company lists at a price of $99,999. Martin asserts that this guitar features a specialized tone system, allowing a newly-built model to produce vintage sounds that would otherwise be impossible to create.
