Kunal Sarkar, Michael Scanlon, and David Drescher are the founders of Lumosity. It began in 2005 as Lumos Labs, and Lumosity.com launched in 2007. Lumosity is a tool that allows members to exercise and develop their cognitive abilities, although studies on its effectiveness have produced mixed results. The company's development team works with neuroscientists to develop the tool. It's available online through a computer or as a smartphone application.
