Super Mario Frustration is the name given to a very difficult ROM hack of the original Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System by the YouTube poster who popularized it with a comical audio track. It replaces the levels of the game with much harder ones.
Also known as Super Mario Forever, Super Mario Frustration features many nonsensical and surprising enemies and obstacles, such as Bloopers moving in air. It makes heavy use of hidden coin blocks positioned just where you want to make jumps, catching you off guard and sending you careening into the nearest pit. Additionally, significant portions of the levels do not have a floor to walk on, necessitating pixel perfect jumps.
