The rest of progressive rummy's rules are the same as contract rummy. The game is for three to eight players using two decks of 52 cards, plus jokers for fewer than five players, and three decks of 52 cards plus jokers for five to eight players. A joker is a wild card, and it may be used to in place of any other card as part of a meld.
Each of the players' turns consist of a draw, possible melding or laying off, and a discard. Each turn must end with a discard, which is placed face up on the discard pile. At the end of a hand, each player scores the sum of all cards in his hand. The player with the fewest points at the end of the seven deals wins the game.Learn more about Card Games
