The game of hide and seek requires selection of a home base location, designation of the seeker and hiding by the other players. The seeker is either chosen or is the winner of a previous round.
Hide and seek is a game in which a safe area, called home base, is designated. All players who make it back to home base during game play are safe. A seeker, who is either designated through a predetermined process such as guessing a number or winning the previous round, closes their eyes and counts up to a number agreed upon by the group while the other players hide. If found by the seeker while not on home base, the player is out. The last person to be found by the seeker becomes a seeker for the next round.
