Several retailers sell Minecraft-related items, such as Walmart, Target and Toys "R" Us. Each retailer stocks a variety of items, including Lego building sets, plush dolls of various characters and collectible figurines.
Additional retailers include GameStop and Best Buy, who also sell copies of the Minecraft game. Other items available for purchase are printed t-shirts, guide books and foam swords and pickaxes. From the full version release of the game in November 2011 to May 2012, over $1 million had been made from merchandise sales alone, the most popular items being socks and t-shirts. There are over 100 million registered users for the game, making it one of the most popular games worldwide.
