As of July 2015, the recommended system specifications for “World of Warcraft” include an Intel Core i5 or AMD FX 4100 processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 or an ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics card, Windows 7, 8 or 10 or OS X 10.9, 4 gigabytes of RAM and 35 gigabytes of hard drive space. Blizzard also recommends a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M or an AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics card for Mac users.
Blizzard offers a separate list of minimum requirements, which includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an ATI Radeon HD 4850 or NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card, Windows XP, Windows Vista or OS X 10.8 and 2 gigabytes of RAM. Other minimum requirements for Windows systems include a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT graphics card, the Intel HD Graphics 3000 chipset, an AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor and 1 gigabyte of RAM for Windows XP machines. All players must have a broadband Internet connection, a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor with a minimum display resolution of 1024 x 768.
