Founded in 1891, the American Numismatic Association is the largest organization of money collectors in the world. To access its coin club directory, go to the Money.org main page, select Community in the toolbar at the top of the page, select ANA Clubs, and click on Club Directory. Enter your city, state and ZIP code, and optionally tic any specialty coin collecting categories you are interested in. If you receive no results, try using the first three numbers of the ZIP code only to expand your search. If you locate a nearby club, use the contact information to communicate with members about meeting times.

To access a list of events where you can meet rare coin collectors, go to Money.org, select Discover in the toolbar, and click on Events. For instance, the World's Fair of Money is an American Numismatic Association-sponsored event held each summer in alternating cities. The National Money Show is a similar event that the American Numismatic Association holds in spring. Annual summer seminars bring numismatists together from all over the world. The Money.org website lists many other events for coin collectors in the events listing.
