The most powerful unmodified water gun is the Super Soaker CPS 2000, made by Larami Ltd. It was introduced in 1996 and is capable of shooting 1 liter of water to within at least 50 feet of its user.
The Super Soaker CPS 2000 was the first to use Larami's Constant Pressure System technology. There are two variations of the gun, the Mk1 version and the Mk2 edition. The differences between the two are slight. The Mk1 has more capacity, while the Mk2 is lighter. While the CPS 2000 is unmatched in terms of power, it has been criticized for having to be refilled quickly after just a few uses. It can usually fire only four or five shots before emptying.
