Play Typing Pal by creating a new account and allowing the tutorial to guide the student through the first few steps, including the initial assessment. Then, go on to play the game using the "Exercises" or "Practice" tabs or check the student's statistics by using the "Statistics" tab.
After purchasing the Typing Pal program, teachers have their accounts created for them. After that, teachers must log into the program to create accounts for their classes.

Visit the website and click on "Create a new group." Fill in the required information and click on "Save Settings."
Click "Log Out" to allow students to create an account.
Visit the website and click on "Start registration." Select a group and enter the student's name. Have the student create an individual login name and password.
Using the tabs at the top of the screen, click on "Exercises" tab and make specific exercises available to the students. Students can then click on specific exercises to begin playing.
Typing Pal allows teachers to select practice exercises and monitor a student's progress. Teachers can then check their students' progress by clicking on the "Statistics" tab. This gives them the ability to specifically tailor the exercises to help struggling students.
